When you think of a James Bay clothing line - what's the first thing that comes to mind? Hats, hats hats. But in his collaboration with Topman the range is void of the trilbies and cowboy hats and swapped for sleeker contemporary pieces. Check out some of our favourite pieces after the jump. Unlike most celebrity collaborations with brands Bay hasn't just stuck his name to pieces that he likes (taking the credit for other people's work) he actually has gotten his hands dirty. Collaborating with Topman's creative director Gordon Richardson the pair have designed a specially curated line of 13 pieces. Bay modelled the pieces in a photoshoot with the fashion retailer however the line has not been officially released for purchase yet. It is expected to hit stores on August 17th. The singer also shot a promotional video for the line which can be seen below. The collection is full of staple pieces that are sure to sell out fast. Including one of our favourite suede jackets. It seems as though jackets are an important part of the line as bombers, leathers and statements all feature. The collection is priced in the range of £25-200. "I've taken a lot of inspiration from performing live and the way I dress on tour. Many of the details I've focused on are also based on my own original drawings and sketches." To be the first to hear about updates on the collection head to Topman.
